Centre History

Multicultural Heritage Society of Edmonton was incorporated on February 24, 1988 as a voluntary non-profit organization with a dream to build a Multicultural Centre for our community. After 16 years of hard work and dedication of the above society, our dream finally turned into reality. On March 15, 2004, the Fiji Multicultural Heritage Society of Edmonton bought an existing Kingdom Hall and transformed it into FIJI MULTICULTURAL CENTRE.

Through the Centre, the community at large will reaffirm their heritage and leave a legacy for their children. In addition, for all Canadians, the Centre is a reminder of the diversity that has shaped this country.
